Bessie Kum is currently a full time Human Resource professional with a passion for writing that shines through in her work as a children’s book author. Bessie had rich background in early childhood education, where she nurtured creativity and imagination in her students, fostering a love for learning in the classroom.

 

She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Philosophy, and a distinction in English Literature. Her past academic background includes the publication of books on geography, alongside her experience as a writer with a renowned travel agency.

 

Now the creator of the beloved Bubu The Bunny series, Bessie draws inspiration from her real pet bunny, capturing the unique insights and joy gained from her travels around the world and her exposure to diverse cultures.

 

An avid traveler, she has a particular love for safaris, animals, and nature.
